But KaraokeClip.video is the world’s first platform to bring all of this together in one cohesive place, with an artistic and technological ambition unlike anything else: true karaoke video, where synchronised lyrics are overlaid directly onto the artist’s official music video.
Officially launched on 1 May 2026, the platform combines three complementary services: a library of subtitled karaoke clips, a one-of-a-kind karaoke video generator, and a social network entirely dedicated to karaoke enthusiasts. Each pillar strengthens the other two for a truly unique overall experience.

The mission of KaraokeClip.video is to democratise professional-quality karaoke and build the largest French-speaking — and then worldwide — community of karaoke enthusiasts ever brought together online. The two versions of each clip
Every title in the catalogue is available in two distinct versions, each on its own page: the instrumental version — vocal track removed, ideal for singing along — and the complete version — the full original clip enhanced with the same synchronised subtitles, perfect for learning the lyrics or simply enjoying the clip in a precision-subtitled format.
Both versions share exactly the same synchronisation file, guaranteeing perfect consistency. The only difference: whether or not the artist’s voice is present.
Video quality: upscaling, restoration and universal 16:9 format
All videos are published in universal 16:9 format — older clips produced in 4:3 are re-encoded with intelligently generated side panels using artistic blur, with no black bars or distorted image. Clips from the 1960s, 70s and 80s also benefit from upscaling and image restoration processing using advanced software — sharpness, resolution and colour rendering are all optimised for modern HD screens.

Every video carries a semi-transparent watermark that protects our work in subtitling, synchronisation and restoration — an original creation in its own right, independent of the clip’s source. KaraokeClip.video is built on a transparent, no-forced-subscription model: 1 credit = €1, used at your own pace. Credits can be used to download a watermark-free video (5 cr.), generate a complete karaoke video (5 cr. in total), have a transcript corrected by AI (1 cr.), add a synchronised translation (1 cr.), and access the professional social network subscription (5 cr./month).

The KaraokeClip.video shop offers packs for every use and every budget. From the 50-credit pack onwards, bonus credits are included — and the larger the pack, the greater the saving. Credits never expire.

Step 1 — The submission form
The first step is to upload your video (MP4 format, max 1 GB) and choose your processing method: known song (with automatic lyrics retrieval from LRCLib, Genius and Spotify) or other type of video. For the lyrics, two options: provide a text file (.txt) for full control, or let Whisper — OpenAI’s vocal transcription AI — detect them automatically. The upload begins within seconds and a confirmation e-mail is sent immediately.
Step 2 — Audio-video processing
Once the video is received, the system automatically performs four distinct and complementary audio separations, the results of which are then intelligently merged to produce an instrumental track of a quality far superior to what a single separation can achieve. The vocal track is also extracted separately for the subsequent steps. Everything is displayed in real time on screen — or runs in the background while you get on with other things.
Step 3 — Transcript correction
If Whisper was selected, a dedicated interface allows you to review and correct the raw transcript, ideally compared against the official lyrics retrieved (from up to 3 sources: LRCLib, Genius, Spotify). An integrated audio player with keyboard shortcuts makes line-by-line verification straightforward. For even greater speed, automatic correction by our specialist AI is available for 1 credit — complete with a detailed report of every change made.
Step 4 — CTC Alignment
CTC Alignment (Connectionist Temporal Classification) is the platform’s technological core: this AI algorithm simultaneously analyses the vocal track and the transcript to position every word to the nearest millisecond on the video timeline. This is the process that makes letter-by-letter colour changes possible, perfectly synchronised to the artist’s voice. Once alignment is complete, an e-mail invites you to proceed to the final editor.
Step 5 — The final editor: total customisation
The final editor is the generator’s richest interface. A three-track audio console (Full, Instrumental, Vocals) with Solo, Mute and Volume controls lets you freely compose the mix for your final video — pure karaoke, guided vocals at reduced volume, or any combination in between. The word-by-word annotation blocks are individually adjustable to fine-tune synchronisation to the pixel.
The visual customisation options for subtitles are the most comprehensive ever offered for karaoke video: typography, colours (waiting text, active text, past text, outline, background), position, layout, visual effects and animations. A synchronised translation option (+1 credit) can simultaneously display the original lyrics and their translation in any language in the world.
Previews and final video generation
Before generating the full video, you can produce previews of 15 to 45 seconds to test your settings. The first 15 previews are included in the base 5 credits — so you can refine your work as much as you like at no extra cost. Beyond that, each additional batch of 15 previews costs 1 credit. Once you are satisfied, clicking “Generate the complete video” launches the final production, available for immediate download.

You never need to stay glued to your screen. At every key stage of the process, an automatic e-mail with a direct link guides you to the next action: start confirmation, invitation to correct the transcript, invitation to the final editor, complete video ready for download. Individual profiles — karaoke lovers — are enriched with up to 20 optional fields spread across six thematic groups: background and experience, voice and repertoire (vocal range, signature songs, dream song), preferences and habits, equipment, personal links and content, and community aspects. Each field has its own visibility setting. Very soon, relationship status fields will be added to complete the profiles.

To encourage local connections, a dedicated group is created for every region of France (mainland and overseas). Four interactive maps allow you to locate members who have made their position public: all members, male karaoke lovers, female karaoke lovers, and professional venues. Clicking on a marker displays the member’s summary profile with their public contact details and a Google Maps directions link — an invaluable reference tool for finding a karaoke venue in any town in France.
